Palm Springs is a beautiful place.

Its a picturesque, small desert town full of charm and personality.

Its long been a vacation destination of celebrities and Hollywood elite who favor the quiet, calm escape.

But its difficult to get there.

Its a short drive from Los Angeles, Ontario, San Diego, and Orange County. But it would be nice to fly straight in.

They have a great airport, but its small and doesnt take many flights. Fortunately, several airlines are expanding or adding new services very soon.

Something that is relatively new and is a great way to vacation is to get a holiday apartment in Berlin. There are many sizes and they are in many locations throughout the city. You can be in downtown Berlin or in the suburban areas if you prefer things a little slower paced. There is a place for everyone and they are very reasonable priced. Holiday apartments come fully furnished right down to dishes and pots and pans. The linens are usually included so all you have to bring is your personal effects. These apartments come in different sizes from a small one room studio apartment to large four and five room places.

Anyone who has cruised knows that the service you receive on board is one of the perks of a cruise vacation.

Staff members simply go above and beyond. They are personable, and remember all of your wants and needs. Wishful thinking, that this would be my everyday life.

Up until recently, Carnival Cruise Line had one of the lowest gratuity amounts at a suggested $10.00 per person, per day. While Carnival didn’t take the decision lightly, they have announced an increase in the suggested gratuity, to $11.50 per person, per day. T

Norwegian Cruise Line and Nickelodeon today announced the expansion of their exclusive partnership, extending the popular family entertainment and programming from two to three ships with the addition of Norwegian Gem, beginning in February 2012. Nickelodeon-themed family events, shows and activities were first introduced in April 2010 on Norwegian Jewel and in July 2010 on Norwegian Epic.
